<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement display system that enables a customer to display the advertisement of a desired advertiser, while enabling the advertiser to display the advertisement for the particular customer. <P>SOLUTION: The advertisement display system includes an automatic transaction device for doing transactions with customers using transaction cards, and an advertisement operation server connected to the automatic transaction device via a communications network and retaining customer master information storing the customers' personal information collected in an advertiser database by the advertiser and campaign information where advertisement information to be displayed is stored for each customer. The name of the advertiser and its customers' membership numbers are stored on the transaction card as advertiser information.
