<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS (Point Of Sale) device providing service equivalent to taxable amount if a receipt is not required when a sales amount exceeds a taxable trading amount. <P>SOLUTION: The POS device has a first benefit providing means providing a benefit according to the trading amount. The POS device comprises: a means used for inquiring a customer about the selection of the necessity of the issuing the receipt describing trading details at trading settlement; a first selection information acquisition means for acquiring selection information on the necessity of the issuing the receipt selected by the customer; and a second benefit providing means for providing the benefit equivalent to the taxable amount when the unnecessity of issuing the receipt is selected and the trading amount is within the taxable amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
