PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule type latent heat storage system capable of performing efficient heat exchange while simplifying the capsule type latent heat storage system. SOLUTION: This system comprises heat transfer fluid circulating conduits 8 and 12 arranged so as to connect each using equipment such as a heat source machine 4, a heat storage tank 1, or an air conditioner 5. In heat storing operation, a liquid heat transfer fluid 15 is circulated between the heat source machine 4 and the heat storage tank 1 to store the generated heat of the heat source machine 4 in the heat storage tank 1. In heat radiating operation, air is directly blown into the heat storage tank 1 filled with the liquid heat transfer fluid 15 in the heat storing operation to heat-exchange a heat storage capsule 2 within the heat storage tank 1 by the two-phase flow of this bubble flow and the liquid heat transfer fluid 15, and the air leaving the heat storage tank 1 is circulated with the air conditioner 5 to cope with a heat load.
