PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting laminated glass, by which the working environment can be improved by suppressing the generation of a metal powder and a glass powder and the cost and the time required for exchanging/maintaining tools can be reduced. SOLUTION: The method for cutting the laminated glass comprises cutting the laminated glass 10 obtained by interposing an interlayer film 13 between a couple of glass sheets 11, 12, and unifying them. In the method, a preset area to be cut is heated linearly by linearly condensing a near-infrared ray and irradiating the preset area to be cut (C<SB>1</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>...) of the laminated glass 10 by using a prescribed linearly light-condensing irradiating means 1, and then the laminated glass 10 is cut by applying a shear force to the preset area to be cut where the strength is lowered by the linear heating.
