PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for an elevator buffer able to be installed using common components even if the distance between the guide rails of an elevator differs and capable of facilitating the transport and storage by constructing the components light and small. SOLUTION: The supporting device of the elevator buffer is equipped with guide rail fixing parts provided under a pair of guide rails installed confronting each other within an elevator shaft and fixed to the bottom surface of the shaft after the spacing in compliance with the distance between the guide rails is decided by a coupling means capable of making expansion and contraction and being removed and fixtures installed on the guide rail fixing parts for fixing the guide rail fixing parts to the guide rails.
