PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling device enabling turning control using a rather inexpensive and compact differential mechanism for steering. SOLUTION: A traveling transmission device comprises a side clutch device 25 having a pair of left and right side clutch shafts (E shafts) 41L and 41R for transmitting a power to either or simultaneously both of wheel shafts (F shafts) 11L and 11R for driving a pair of left and right traveling devices 3 and 3, the differential mechanism 6 having a pair of left and right side gears 55L and 55R on the outer periphery of the support shaft (H shaft), and a clutch shaft 70 (G shaft) having a turning clutch 82 controlling the differential mechanism 6 in turning and transmitting the power to the traveling device 3 on the inside of the turning. The wheel shafts (F shafts) 11L and 11R and the differential mechanism support shaft (H shaft) 50 are disposed at the approximately same height when the raveling transmission device 14 is viewed from the side.
