<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic part mounting method which is capable of reducing setup changing work when the type of a board is switched from one to the other and keeping the accuracy of a suction position stable when a mounting device starts operating. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic part mounting method is a method of picking up an electronic part by a transfer head moved by a head moving mechanism from a tape feeder equipped with a tape feeding mechanism that sends electronic parts held by a tape and mounting it on a board. Position correction data used for relatively aligning a suction nozzle with a part stop position by the tape feeding mechanism are stored in a correction data storage means for each tape feeder, and only the position correction data concerning the tape feeder as an object of an arrangement change are newly generated when the board as an object of mounting is changed in type. By this setup, retooling work can be reduced when the type of the board is switched from one to the other, and the accuracy of a suction position can be kept stable when a mounting device starts operating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
