<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical system with which a capsule type medical device is easily swallowed and detailed inspections or the like can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that a patient 2 is to swallow the capsule type medical device 3, the upper half body side of the patient 2 is horizontally held by a base member 5, a head 2b is supported in the state of being tiled upwards from a horizontal direction by a headrest 6 provided so as to be freely tilted on the end part of the base member 5, the capsule type medical device 3 is put inside the mouth, water put in a cup 31 is drunk, and thus the capsule type medical device 3 is easily swallowed.
