<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to simply add a function of processing an IC card ticket to an automatic ticket gate 1 by minimizing changes in software and hardware configurations to a main control device 11 of the existing magnetic-ticket-compliant automatic ticket gate 1. <P>SOLUTION: For an IC card ticket, an IC card CPU 14 disposed in the automatic ticket gate 1 executes determination processing, fare adjustment processing and the like.
