<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a plastic bottle container as a whole while good handling properties of the container are retained. <P>SOLUTION: A waist part 15 is formed in the middle of the height direction of the trunk 13 of the bottle container 10 by the shape of a blow molding die used in a blow molding process of a preform 1.
