PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner equipped with an electric blower that is easy to assemble. SOLUTION: A hole portion 87 is provided in a motor cover 71 to be attached to a cleaner body 3, covering one end of the axial direction of the electric blower 2. a holding portion 94 having the directionality of a supporting rubber 91 provided at one end of the axial direction of the electric blower 2 is airtightly engaged with the edge of the hole portion 87. Since an operator can attach the electric blower 2 and the motor cover 71 by engaging the holding portion 94 with the edge of the hole portion 87 while visually checking the direction of the holding portion 94 from the hole portion 87, ease of assembly can be improved. The airtight engagement of the holding portion 94 with the edge of the hole portion 87 prevents discharged air from the electric blower 2 from leaking from the hole portion 87 and improves a sealing property.
