PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the cross-sectional area of a magnetic path of protrusions continuous to tees without increasing the radial dimension of the stator in a claw-pole type motor. SOLUTION: Wedge-like protrusions 31c, 32c and 33c having a radial height decreasing gradually in the direction of axis L from the radial inner end of a plurality of teeth 31b, 32b and 33b juxtaposed in the direction of axis L are provided, outer circumferential surface of a rotor is covered with the inner circumferential surface of these protrusions 31c, 32c and 33c and the border line of the inner circumferential surface of adjacent protrusions 31c, 32c and 33c is skewed for the axis L. The protrusions 31c and 33c of the tees 31b and 33b located at the opposite ends in the direction of axis L have a trapezoidal inner circumferential surface tapered from the proximal end side continuous to that teeth 31b, 33b toward the distal end side and the protrusion 32c of the teeth 32b located in the center in the direction of axis L has a parallelogrammic inner circumferential surface.
