PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an electromagnet for controlling the flowing of molten metal where the improvement in working efficiency and reduction in cost for the repair of an electromagnet are attained without damaging the controllability in the flowing of the molten metal, and further, the damage to component parts composing the electromagnetic can be suppressed. SOLUTION: A coil C arranged around an iron core F composing an electromagnet 3 for controlling the flowing of molten metal is removed.
