ACTIVE RAY-CURABLE COMPOSITION, ACTIVE RAY-CURABLE INK, AND IMAGE FORMATION METHOD AND INKJET PRINTING UNIT USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active ray-curable composition and an active ray-curable ink that do not cause ink abrasion and image deterioration by rubbing with a finger when an amount of UV ray irradiation energy varies, and an image formation method and an inkjet printing unit using it.

SOLUTION: This active ray-curable composition comprises an oxetane ring-containing compound and an alicyclic epoxy compound represented by general formula (A) as a photopolymerizable compound, and a sensitizer (B) that is at least one selected from a polycyclic aromatic compound, a carbazole derivative and a thioxanthone derivative having at least one of a hydroxy group, an aralkyloxy group or an alkoxy group which may be substituted as a substituent, and has UV ray absorption at a longer wavelength than 300 nm.
