<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly grasp the cause of failure that occurs inside of a transceiver. <P>SOLUTION: This optical transceiver 10 acquires state data about an operation environment state of each part provided inside the optical transceiver 10 and conducts history information updating processing for storing the acquired latest state data in history information corresponding to the state data. If a failure occurs in the optical transceiver 10, the optical transceiver 10 temporarily stops history information update processing, after conducting history information update processing; and when a signal showing that history information is allowed to be updated is received from a managing device 20, the optical transceiver 10 restarts the history information update processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
