<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ferrite magnet by which the magnetic characteristics of a w-type hexagonal ferrite magnet is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is provided with a 1st calcining process for holding a powdery raw material having a composition expressed by composition formula: AZn<SB>a(1-x)</SB>Ni<SB>ax</SB>Fe<SB>b</SB>O<SB>27</SB>(wherein, A is at least one kind of an element selected from Sr, Ba and Pb, 0.00≤x≤0.70, 1.3≤a≤1.8 and 14≤b≤17) at 1,120-1,270°C for a prescribed time, a pulverizing process for pulverizing a 1st calcined body obtained in the 1st calcining process and a 2nd calcining process for holding pulverized powder obtained in the pulverizing process at 1,120-1,270°C for a prescribed time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
