<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document editing method and an image processing apparatus which are suitable for editing a document including image data via a communication line. <P>SOLUTION: The document editing method in the image processing apparatus edits a document including image data from a communication destination. The method has a document designation step in which a document to be edited is designated from the communication destination, a document-related information providing step for providing the document-related information about the designated document to the communication destination, an editing job information creating step for creating editing job information for storing the editing contents information edited by the communication destination, an editing contents information storing step for storing the editing contents information in the editing job information, and an editing job executing step for executing editing for the document on the basis of the editing contents information stored in the editing job information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
