A gas cooling pool 5 for cooling the high-boiling-point constituent oil in the produced gas G generated by carbonization in the carbonization still 3 at predetermined temperature for condensation is provided. The produced gas discharged from a gas cooling tank 5 is released into water for preventing the backward flow of the produced gas G. A backward flow preventer 6 for condensing the low-boiling-point constituent oil in the produced gas is provided in the water.
