PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which miniaturizes the apparatus main part, and at the same time, can assure an implement area of electronic parts. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a lens barrel (1) with a photo-optical system, and a 1st and a 2nd device boards (4a, 4b) mounting electric parts, the 1st and the 2nd device boards are arranged so as to mutually face in an optical axis direction, and at least a device board out of the 1st and the 2nd device boards is arranged in an optical axis orthotomic surface to the lens barrel.
