PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow exertion of stable refrigeration capacity by improving accuracy of a needle valve or an orifice of a phase adjustment means to reduce variation of performance, and to facilitate replacement. SOLUTION: This pulse tube refrigerator has: a pressure change source; a cold storage unit communicating with the pressure change source; a pulse tube communicating with the cold storage unit; and the phase adjustment means including the needle valve 80 or the orifice 70 for adjusting a phase difference between a gas pressure wave inside the pulse tube and a pulse tube low temperature end gas flowage velocity wave. A needle hole 84A of the needle valve 80 and its screw part 84B, or the orifice 70 is not directly processed to a base material 60 of the refrigerator, and are set as detachable combination types 72, 84.
