PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability when connecting a shift lever device to a control lever, and to reduce the generation of unevenness in adjustment of length. SOLUTION: When connecting a control cable 10 to the control lever 44, a nut part 16 of a connecting rod 14 is fitted in a slider 29. The slider 29 is thereby connected to the connecting rod 14, and while temporary holding of the slider 29 is released, and the slider 29 can relatively move along a slide hole 28 in relation to a case part 22 with work of energizing force of a compression coil spring 30. With this structure, the slider 29 and a fastening screw 32 move along the slide hole 28 to take balance with the energizing force of the compression coil spring 30, and a cable main body 12 and the connecting rod 14 are automatically pulled for adjustment, and looseness and rattle can be automatically eliminated.
