PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device able to operate normally even if the constants pertaining to an electronic gear such as the reduction gear ratio, transport roller diameter, etc. are unknown. SOLUTION: The invention comprises a calibration switch 118 turned by an operator, a rotation control part 162 to rotate the second motor 52 for a predetermined number of revolutions when the calibration switch 118 is turned, a transport length entry setting part 112 for entering the actually measured value of the transport length of a sheet transported by rotation of the second motor 52 for the specified number of revolutions, a transported amount calculation part 156 to calculate the transported amount per unit pulse by the second motor 52 on the basis of the entered value from the setting part 112, and a number-of-pulses calculation part 158 to calculate the number of pulses of the drive voltage of the second motor 52 required to transport the sheet for the transport unit length on the basis of the transported amount per unit pulse.
