PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which facilitates the separation and recovery of recyclable particulates from a liquid containing particulates of 1μm or less and a surfactant without adding a flocculant. SOLUTION: The concentration of the surfactant is reduced by carrying out the cross-flow filtration of the liquid containing the particulates of 1μm or less and the surfactant with a separation membrane up to the self-flocculation of the particulates.
