PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and reduce production cost supporting a plurality of sewing machines. SOLUTION: The control box has a casing 20 having an opening 21 on the front, an operating panel 30 removably attached to the casing 20 as if to cover the opening 21. An indication 33 corresponding to the type of a sewing machine to be controlled is made on the surface side 32 of the operating panel 30, and an intrinsic circuit board 50 having a circuit responding to the type of a sewing machine to be controlled is supported on the reverse side of the operating panel 30 and a common circuit board 40 having a circuit portion commonly used irrespective of the type of a sewing machine is supported on the casing 20.
