PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a system by using a switching hub that constructs 1: 1 communication between communication equipment to avoid faults and eliminating master communication equipment to prevent communication in a vehicle from stopping. SOLUTION: Communication equipment 1 for a railroad vehicle comprises a configuration control part 2 having a carrier detection multiple access type interface, the switching hub 3 for branching a transmission path 6, and a switch 4 for separating input-output signals of the switching hub 3.
