摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate flaw detection for performing flaw detection at a position, in which a focusing beam diameter is minimized, since it requires labor for focusing the optimum position, in which the focusing beam diameter is minimized in flaw detection by electronic scanning which uses an array probe. SOLUTION: Contrast data, namely the difference meter of adjacent data in each ultrasonic data acquired by the electronic scanning of the array probe, when the array probe is moved successively for a specified amount, the array probe is positioned at a position for indicating the maximum value of the difference meter, a position at which the focusing beam diameter is minimized is automatically obtained for ultrasonic flaw detection.
