PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire damage testing device capable of performing a highly accurate damage test having little dispersion when specifying a damaged spot of a test tire by dropping an impact block equipped with a heavy bob to abut surely on a specific spot of a tire tread part from the tire side part side of the test tire. SOLUTION: In this damage testing device, a tire support shaft 2 is mounted in the orthogonal direction on a support frame 1 erected vertically, and the test tire W is mounted detachably in parallel with the support frame 1 on the tire support shaft 2. A plate-shaped impact block 5 equipped with the heavy bob G having a prescribed weight is suspended over the center of the tire width H of the test tire W through a lifting device 4 such as a hydraulic cylinder installed on a gate-shaped frame 3 installed outside of the support frame 1. A stopper member 6 is provided on the side of the frame 3 for suspending the impact block 5 so that, after the impact block 5 is dropped to abut on the test tire W, the block is not dropped again repeatedly to abut on a tire side part Wa and the tire tread part Wb.
