PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking action detecting processor for detecting the walking action of a human. SOLUTION: The walking action detecting processor detects gravitational acceleration from an angular vector and an acceleration vector; removes acceleration in the vertical direction from the gravity acceleration and while extracting the residual acceleration components, performs main component analysis of the residual acceleration components; calculates the vector in the direction of the main component in the acceleration component, in the vertical direction and the acceleration component in the advancing direction; and calculates the inclination of the acceleration component in the advancing direction, when a peak pair changing from the top peak to the bottom peak of the acceleration component in the vertical direction are detected, based on the vector in the direction of the main component. When a peak pair is detected, changing from the bottom peak to the top peak of the acceleration component in the advancing direction, and it is determined that the walking operation has been detected, when the inclination at the detection time of the bottom peak changing from the top peak to the bottom peak of the acceleration component in the vertical direction is equal to or larger than a specified value.
