PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being easily disturbed by other mixed nuclides, and the problem wherein a background in a spectrum becomes high, when many nuclides become difficult to detect weak gamma rays, even when they do not fortunately overlap with other gamma rays. SOLUTION: Nuclides are qualitatively and quantitatively determined by analyzing a three-dimensional cube obtained by measuring the gamma rays with a multiple gamma-ray detector, comprising a plurality of gamma ray detectors, noting that many of radioactive nuclides emit plural gamma rays.
