PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerofoil section profile of a second-stage turbine bucket. SOLUTION: The second-stage turbine bucket (20) has the aerofoil section profile (36) defined according to Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z shown in Table I. In Table I, the X, Y values are each indicated by the inch, and the Z value is a dimensionless value of 0.05 to 0.95 which is convertible into a Z distance indicated by the inch and obtained by multiplying the Z value by the aerofoil section height indicated by the inch. When X and Y are combined by a smooth continuous circular arc, they represent the distance which forms the aerofoil profile section (38) in each distance Z. The aerofoil profile sections in each distance z are smoothly combined to one another so as to define the aerofoil section profile. X, Y and the Z distance can be enlarged or contracted in order to obtain the aerofoil section for the bucket which is enlarged or reduced. The standard aerofoil section given by X, Y and the distance Z is in an envelope of±0.160 inches in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the aerofoil section. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
