PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for transporting live fishes or shellfishes, which can suitably transport a large amount of the live fishes or shellfishes at a low cost and can simply classify the live fishes or shellfishes into large those and small those during the transportation. SOLUTION: This apparatus for transporting the live fishes or shellfishes is characterized by having a towable bag-like portion 3 on whose upstream side a water inflow port 2 is formed, and at least one classifying / flow rate-reducing portion 7 which can pass smaller live fishes or shellfishes than a prescribed size among the live fishes or shellfishes having various sizes in the bag-like portion 3 to classify large those from small those.
