<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating recycle use of material scrap capable of appropriately evaluating the recycle use of the material scrap by grasping it with the lapse of time. <P>SOLUTION: The secular change of the amount of material scrap generation by use in future in a specific area or region is calculated from the amount of material demanded, product life distribution in the past by use and a material demand scenario in future by use. The amount of scrap generation and impurity concentration by use in the next year are calculated from the secular change, the amount of recyclable material scrap and impurity concentration by use this year, pinch analysis is performed between the amount of the recyclable material scrap and the impurity concentration by use this year and the amount of material demanded and impurity allowable concentration by use in the next year. The minimum values of the amount of virgin material production and the amount of the material scrap to be scrapped and the maximum value of the amount of the recyclable scrap by use in the same year are calculated. Similar processes are repeated as adding years one by one and the minimum values of the amount of virgin material production and the amount of the material scrap to be scrapped and the maximum value of the amount of the recyclable scrap by use every year are calculated this year and afterward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
