<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid such an occurrence that a person moving in a hall can not get on an elevator car owing to shutting of the car door while a turbulence in the group control is eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: When a hall call is generated, a main control board 12 performs an evaluating computation, selects the optimum car among the cars 4 available and allocates it to the given hall call, computes the difference of the present time from the predicted arrival time when the allocated car 4 will arrive at the floor from which the hall call is emitted, determines the predicted period of time necessary for the car 4 to get to the floor, and if the obtained period is smaller than the preset delay time value, selects another optimum car among the others and allocates it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
