PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for implementing the connection work to a shift control lever in a simple structure. SOLUTION: Before connection to the control lever 44, a fastening screw 32 is not yet fastened to a nut part 16, and the nut part 16 is accommodated to be relatively moved in a case part 22. The cable body 12 and a connecting rod 14 are energized in the direction of reducing the length as a whole to be expanded and contracted by a compression coiled spring 30. In connection to the control lever 44, while the cable body 12 and the connecting rod 14 are operated to be elongated against the energizing force of the spring 30, the fitting part 20 of the connecting rod 14 is engaged with a connecting pin 46. At this time, the cable body 12 and the connecting rod 14 are automatically adjusted in length to eliminate slack and play by the energizing force of the spring 30.
