PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel speaker with a simple configuration and low profile for preventing a high cost and providing excellent sound quality. SOLUTION: A diaphragm 2 is configured with a flat transparent plate. A picture-frame like frame 1 heavier than the diaphragm 2 is arranged to an outer circumference of the diaphragm 2, a hollow part 7 acting like a back cavity is formed in the frame 1, an edge 17 supports a vibration frame outer circumferential part 2 in the hollow part 7 and is driven by a driver 8. The driver 8 is located at a position through which a node of vibration of at least one degree with respect to nodes of vibration of the diaphragm 2 passes and at which at least one line symmetry arrangement is formed.
