PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image storage program, an image storage device, and an image storage method for facilitating utilization of files for storing digital images produced from a read original. SOLUTION: The image storage program makes a computer act like an image input means for receiving a digital image from an image reading apparatus for reading the original to produce the digital image, a time information reception means for accepting reception of time information denoting an arbitrary time before storing the digital image received from the image input means to an external storage means, and an image storage means for housing the digital image and attached information to a file and storing the file to the external storage means and also housing the attached information including the time information received by the time information reception means.
