PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing device for a microscope capable of easily setting the upper and lower limits of a focusing range and regulating the focusing range to an optional position. SOLUTION: The edge of the positioning part 41 of a regulation part is moved until it abuts on the inclined surface 37a (38a) of a part to be regulated 37 (38) so as to regulate the movement in an up-and-down direction of a focusing moving part 30. By adjusting the abutting state of the edge of the positioning part 41 on the inclined surface 37a (38a) of the part to be regulated 37 (38), the upper and lower limits of the focusing range by the focusing moving part 30 are set.
