PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium alloy having high strength and high toughness, and having excellent thermal stability in these properties. SOLUTION: The titanium alloy comprises, by atom,≥50% Ti, and the balance Ni, Cu andβ-Ti phase stabilizing elements, and is the crystalline alloy having a composite structure composed of a nonequilibrium TiNi dendrite compound phase and aβ-Ti phase.
