PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding torch cooled by liquid in a field of arc welding, in particular, in a field of a liquid-cooling type arc welding torch. SOLUTION: A liquid-cooling type welding device 14 has a helical cooling fin 64 extending along the length of a torch head body 62. A sleeve 66 is disposed around the torch head body to define a flow channel over the torch body. The sleeve has a liquid inlet 70 and a liquid outlet 72 to enable liquid to flow into and out of the flow channel. The liquid-cooling type welding device has a baffle 68 disposed between the liquid inlet and the liquid outlet so as to direct liquid to transfer heat to the liquid from the helical cooling fin.
