PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily attaching/detaching a fin manually without using a screw and the fin. SOLUTION: A box is fixed to a groove dug in the surfboard with an adhesive agent. Two grooves with a step are formed on the inside of the box. The front longer groove is set at a rather high position and one of the pins of the fin can be inserted therein. Pins on the rear side can be inserted into a plurality of L-shaped grooves formed at the slightly rear lower side of the box. The fin is higher at the front part, comprises one step, and is lower at the rear part, or a total of two pins, one at the front part and the other at the rear part are installed. By this, the fin can be fixed by fitting two pins into both grooves so that the troublesome attaching/detaching of the fin can be eliminated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
