PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slowing descending device which develops a radio wave reflector together with a parachute, is easily captured by a meteorological radar regularly mounted on an aircraft or a ship, identifies the position of a body for recovery without using any signal transmitter-receiver, makes the radio wave reflector into a large number of small pieces, discharges and scatters these small pieces simultaneously with the discharge of the parachute, and develops the radio wave reflector in a wide area to ensure capturing by the meteorological radar. SOLUTION: The slowly descending device to slowly descend a body 1 for recovery falling from a very high altitude has a radio wave reflector to be developed together with a main parachute 2 to slowly descend the body 1 for recovery. A large number of small pieces 10 are used for the radio wave reflector, and by scattering the large number of small pieces 10 over an extensive area while descending the body 1 for recovery, the body for recovery can be easily captured by a meteorological radar which is regularly mounted on an aircraft or a ship.
