The device has a detection arrangement with detection units (20, 22) and an optical unit for representing an object scene on the detection arrangement. A filtering unit (32) arranged in an intermediate image plane has two color frames (34r, 34b) with two different filtering characteristics. A displacement unit moves an image of the frames, step by step, with respect to the detection arrangement. An independent claim is also included for a method intended to produce a representation of an object scene.
