<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a small image formation device as a device capable of double-face printing by mounting an option unit provided with a reverse transfer path to the device, and release the reverse transfer path of the option unit by an outside guide member moving parallely. <P>SOLUTION: An option unit 50 is mounted on one side of a device body 2 of an image formation device 1, and single-face recorded sheets are transferred to a recording part via a reverse transfer path, so that a toner image can be recorded on a rear face. A side plate 52 outside the option unit 50 is constituted to open in parallel to the body, so that an area occupied by the outside guide member is not made large in comparison with the case that the outside guide member 52 is swung via a hinge at a bottom.
