<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lacrimal punctum plug set, even if a flange 23 of a lacrimal punctum plug 20 is entered in the lacrimal canaliculus in inserting the lacrimal punctum plug for treating a dry eye, easily pulling out the flange 23, being surely and rightly indwelling it and fitted to the sizes of the lacrimal punctum and the lacrimal canaliculus of each person. <P>SOLUTION: A thread 31 is put into a flesh in the lacrimal punctum plug 20 and both the sides of the thread 31 are attached with thick members 38. One of the two thick members 38 may be a threaded inserter 33. The tip part of the inserter is attached with projections/recesses 35 or a screw 34 and fixed to recesses/projections 36 or a screw receiver on a plug cavity face respectively. A lacrimal punctum plug 20 having a sufficiently small flange 23 and a sufficiently large tip 21 which are fitted to each person can be selected from multiple different sizes of lacrimal punctum plugs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
