PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route search device capable of improving the route search performance. SOLUTION: This route search device 1 is constituted so that a route is searched for so as to include a passing point, where a user wants to pass on the route until own vehicle reaches the destination. The route searched for is presented to the user by a display part 50 and a voice output part 60. In this case, when the presented route is not a desired one, and the user performs cancelling operation, a passing route estimation part 35 estimates a route by adopting a new route until own vehicle reaches the destination; namely a road as an intermediary spot, by not adopting an intermediary point defined by a point on a map as an intermediary spot, but adopting an intermediary line, expressed by a line on the map as the intermediary spot.
