PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator adaptible to a plurality of kinds of optical disks and highly precisely accessing respective the optical disks. SOLUTION: Rotation control means (40, 27) for controlling the rotation of an optical disk 15 control the driving of an objective lens based on an output signal of an optical pickup device 23, and also control the rotational frequency of the optical disk so that the rotational frequency does not match with the primary resonance frequencies in the rotational direction about the axis in the tracking direction and the rotational direction about the axis in the tangential direction constituting the optical pickup device by using the output signal of the optical pickup device when the optical disk for performing at least reproduction of reproduction and deletion does not require tilt correction. In this case, the rotational frequency of the optical disk which does not require tilt correction is easily set to a frequency evading each primary resonance frequency by making each primary resonance frequency almost the same.
