PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material having good suitability to coating and excellent in in-plane uniformity of a processed image. SOLUTION: The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material has at least one imaging layer and at least one protective layer in this order on at least one surface of a support, wherein at least one layer of the imaging layer is obtained by applying and drying a coating liquid for an imaging layer satisfying the following viscosity conditions; when vibration with a distortion of 0.4 and a frequency of 2 Hz is applied for 5 min immediately after applying shear which effects a shear rate of 1,000 (1/s) at 23°C for 30 s, the expression: 2.00>η<SB>B</SB>/η<SB>A</SB>>1.20 is satisfied, whereinη<SB>A</SB>is a viscosity immediately after start of the vibration andη<SB>B</SB>is a viscosity after the lapse of 5 min after start of the vibration.
