PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide drainage force-feeding equipment and a method capable of reducing a space, superior in maintainability, and capable of reducing noise and vibration, without requiring to arrange a sewage storage tank, by arranging a drainage source such as a toilet, a bathtub, and a washer pan in an optional position separate from an existing indoor vertical drain pipe or a catch basin in the respective floors of an existing building such as a medium-multistory building. SOLUTION: A force-feeding pump 9 is interposed in a conducting part of a drain conduit 6 and an indoor drain branch pipe 3 derived from an indoor drain source 5, and a pump suction port is connected to the drain conduit 6, and a pump delivery port is connected to the indoor drain branch pipe 3. A detecting means is arranged for grasping a drainage state in a space reaching the pump suction port from the drain conduit 6. A control engine is equipped indoors for controlling operation of the force-feeding pump 9 by receiving a signal from the detecting means, to perform shift control stepwise or steplessly on a rotating speed of the force-feeding pump by a fluctuation in an inflow drainage quantity.
