PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, since a safety valve is arranged in the compressed air chamber of an oil treatment tank for discharging compressed air to the atmosphere when the pressure of the compressed air becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined set pressure, the energy equivalent to the pressure difference between the pressure of the compressed air and the set pressure is wasted and since the compressed air having the pressure equal to or higher than the set pressure flows toward an oil adsorption tank arranged on the downstream side while the safety valve is actuated, a specified flow passage is formed in an oil adsorbing material housed in the oil adsorption tank, and consequently, the exchange of the oil adsorbing material is necessitated at an early stage. SOLUTION: The subject apparatus 1 for treating a drain produced from compressed air is constituted so that the drain produced from the compressed air when the compressed air passes through various pieces of equipment is sent into the apparatus 1 via a drain discharging pipe connected to each of the various pieces of equipment and collection pipes to remove foreign matter contained in the drain. A pressure reducing valve 265 for reducing the pressure of the compressed air so that the secondary pressure of the pressure reducing valve 265 does not exceed a fixed value is arranged at any position of the collection pipes 261, 262, 263, or connection pipes 272, 273 from the position where all of the drain discharging pipes are joined till the position of the emulsion breaking oil adsorption tank 30.
