FLOCCULATING/FILTERING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculating/filtering method suitable as a method for treating turbid water flowing out of a paddy field. SOLUTION: This flocculating/filtering method for treating the clayey soil-containing turbid water flowing out of the paddy field is provided with the steps of: adding a flocculant to the turbid water, settling the flocculant-added turbid water and separating it into a supernatant liquid and settled sludge in a flocculating/settling tank; sending the settled sludge to a sludge storage tank or treating the settled sludge with a filter press; and filtering/separating the supernatant liquid with a filter medium in a filtration/separation tank. The filtered and concentrated liquid obtained by the filtration in the filtration/separation tank is circulated by sending it back to the flocculating/settling tank. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
